Halloween is evil....EVIL!!!

And there is all this candy left over and I made HUGE cookies for my husband yesterday because he is suffering from sciatica and was whining for his favorite cookies.

I am so good with what I eat...because I don't keep junk in the house. I've lost 115 lbs...but I lost count how many Reeses I had yesterday and one of my cookies. I dump only if I eat a lot of sugar at once but a Reeses spread out throughout the day doesn't do anything or a cookie.

Yes, I would love to open the garbage and dump it all (even 17 year old daughter would not mind)but it would cause a huge fight between me and the hubby. God help me! lol.

Anyone else have trouble with this Halloween season? Thanksgiving and Xmas never bother me because I work at home so there is not an influx of goodies. And I only cook big meals for those days...no binging on holiday yummies beforehand and no left overs. But left over Reeses...not good!

YES! I am with you there, I made brownies for the kids and have a few left and they are calling my name. Think I may just go for a walk instead.

Hmmm... I can sympathize - I think a major part of my success is living alone and not having ANY temptation (except at work, where Starbucks drops off baskets of their baked goods twice a day)...Thank God I dump at the drop of refined sugar!

Maybe set a deadline for how long the candy stays?  Or ask hubby to hide it?  Or lock it away in a candy locker and only give hubby the combo?

Yes, I'm there with you.  Being a chocoholic, Halloween is my worst holiday.  I also battled the Reese's demon.  I don't know that I'll dump it, but it will not be sitting in the kitchen or livingroom after I get home tonight.  It will go in a room I never go in and I don't want to know which one.  I'm a little disappointed in myself, but today is a new day!

The reason the Reese's Demon is out your house is because the MilkyWay, Snikers, 3 mustketeer, almon joy, ect are all at my house...ugg

Hey Melissa - I know how you feel.  The candy is to be gone out of my house by the time I get home tonight.
Back on track today!!
I like Mara's idea of playdough next year!!

OMG I thought I was going to die with all the candy I had. The last set of kids that came got SOOOO much candy. I basically dumped the bowl into their bags! I had to get it out of my house and out of my sight and I'm so glad I did cause I was craving those peanut m&ms all day! lol

Lord help you, don't eat the m&m's. I was so good till all the kids were done coming to the door. Then I was alone and ate 3 little bags of peanut m&m's about 12 total and one sweet tart. Well I thought someone had wrapped there fingers around my stomache inside and was squeezing as hard as they could for about an hour. Some friends dropped in about then and I was all I could do to carry on a conversation because all I wanted to do was curl up in the fetal position. Lesson learned! I dumped all the leftover chocolate bars in a bag and dumped it all on the cafeteria table at work and it was gone in a matter of hours. Thank god I don't want to even smell it now for a long time.

Reading these posts make me so happy I live in a neighborhood that is mostly secluded, and no little kids. However, if I ever have any grandkids (rather than the grandogs I have) that will be another story! lol Although, a Krispy Kreme donut jumped out of the box and into my stomach Friday, threw out the leftovers today..........
