Fitness Challenge - November 1st
Well, we finished up the month of October...2 more months to go until we all ring in the new year!! Wow....
I thought i'd post before getting ready for work/travel. I love to travel under any cir****tances so its always fun. I impressed myself by being able to pack casual clothes and work clothes and 2 pairs of shoes and all necessities in 1 carry on bag. I have developed mad skills over the years and with my hubby's military training. :) So, 1 carry on and 1 computer bag please. That's it.
I will be touring the hotel casino today after work...and then make a stop in the fitness center. From what the pics showed...not bad at all. Then....I will be grabbing my grub and heading off to the room for the night.
Planned: 45 minutes high intensity elliptical.

Let's keep moving through the holidays LW's...BUT....let's have fun doing it!! mwahaha

Have a safe trip Diana.
Not sure how this week will be different as I'm still under doctor's orders to just walk flat ground.
I have a busy day. Have to drive to work so that I have my car for my chiro appointment right after work. Then off to my Weigh****chers meeting. I won't get home until late.
I need to maximize my lunchtime walk today and try to get in 45 minutes instead of 30. My walking partner walks way faster than me so gets me going at a good clip.

Have a great trip! Enjoy Vegas and the new gym. I'm always impressed by good packers. My dad always trained us not to check luggage, so I've always had to figure out ways to be efficient with packing, though I will admit that once I decide I'm going to check, I start getting lavish with the packing with changes of clothes throughout the day, lots of large liquids for shampoo, etc. ;)
For this week, I'll add a day of exercise. I haven't decided which day that will be (it's not today) so it'll probably be Friday and Saturday.
Monday: rest
Tuesday: long run
Wednesday: zumba
Thursday: run
Friday: ballet
Sat & Sun: rest
When I see the loss slowing, I think I'll add Mondays as a workout day, too. But only then!

Hey missy...he travels were great...a little rough start though. Was an hour late for my meeting....sooooo beyond my control. 1) plane took off late which NEVER happens in my area 2) motor pool did not have me on the list AGAIN and I had to wait for my car....BUT I got a cool car and the afternoon went VERY well and VERY productive.

I need to start participating in these threads. I trained for and completed a 5K 5 weeks ago and have been seriously slacking since, maybe working out once a week.
SOOOO, for this week I WILL run and lift weights today, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. There's a Zumba class on Monday and Wednesday evenings that I've been wanting to start, so I may throw that in the mix too. My workdays (they're 13 hours, but I work in a physical therapy clinic with a fully stocked gym) I can try and sneak in some light stuff here and there when we're not busy, which is not very often these days. Got to get these last 25 lbs off my butt!
