New Here but Not to OH!
Hi Everyone!
I've been on OH for a long time (well, seems like a long time) ... but thought I'd post over here. Wow, it's hard to believe I was a lightweight ...
You can read about me, latest posts, etc., in the usual ways. Here's my big question: Are we lightweights less likely to have been heavy all our lives? I know that for me the weight crept on in adulthood "very slowly then all at once" so it feels really good to be getting my familiar self back!
I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all! Many many s!!

I too will speak for myself. I have NOT always been fat, in high school I was a "normal" BMI but when I got pregnant (age 17) I started to gain my weight. It was not until I was on to my 3rd pregnancy that I REALLY started gaining. So it was around 23-24 when I started to pack on the pounds. Until then I was at least a nice size 10. ( Im 4'11 so even this looked heavy) I was comfortable with that size though and did what I could to maintain that. Now, it had just sky rocketed out of control and I took control back on Aug 31, 2010.
Welcome to the LWs board!
I had a beautiful shape as a younger person, but always struggled with my weight (from middle school onwards). I just was pretty effective at dieting my size down as a teenager. I gained in college, lost a lot of weight, gained after college, lost some weight, gained in grad school, lost some weight, gained after grad school, lost a lot of weight, gained with depression, and then had surgery. Typical yoyo.
Looking forward to getting to know you, too!
