Hi again.....anyone in WInston-Salem NC area?

Hi everyone!
Not doing well with keeping up here as is usual when food is bad...argh...anyway...new news in the job situation. I have ALWAYS wanted to try travel nursing so after much discussion with DBF and thinking I have accepted a travel job to work in the PICU in North Carolina. It is a 13 week assignment and they provide accomodations and travel expenses. Should be interesting thats for sure. If it works out ok I may go to Florida for 13 weeks after that job and totally avoid the Chicago winter! Is there anyone from here in the Winston-Salem area? I don't know anyone at all down there for if there is it would be great to have someone close! Anyway..have a great day everyone and will get on track soon!!! Stress brings out the worst in me. :(

I'm not really close but I am in NC, about equal distance from Hendersonville, Asheville and Brevard.  Good luck on your new assignment.

Hello I am from NC but unfortunately not there right now. I did one travel assignment and then "traveled" to Saudi Arabia.  I hope that you will like the WS area.  I am from Greensboro, which is about 30 miles from WS.  I wish that you had made it to NC during the fall.  I was able to go there just last weekend as I accompanied a VIP patient to MA and took a short trip to NC before coming back to Riyadh.  North Carolina is a beautiful state.
