Love you guys!

I LOVE reading all the posts and I take them to heart.  I tried the elliptical today because someone else was proud she could do it now.  I got on 3 machines that I thought were broken til someone told me you have to start pedaling BEFORE you push start. Duh!  Lasted two minutes.

I'm pretty calm about the stall on the scale since so many of you have had the same issue.

Bought a new pair of sneakers half a size smaller.

Can't wait to see collar bones, and will even be happy to have tail bone pain.  I figure it's better than the pain of being out of breath from just standing!

And finally, a tiny NSV.  We had to go to a budget meeting tonight at the clubhouse and I told my DH we should walk.  And...I enjoyed being able to walk easily with no heavy breathing and no knee pain.  So I officially love my RNY too.

I love any nsv, no matter how small! Walking without heavy breathing is a huge victory!
Congrats! Smaller shoes is also a great one! Hurray!
We need to celebrate ourselves in a big way!
It takes many small victories to get us to goal.
I am so proud of you Mrs. M! Keep up the good work!

I realized the other day that even after race walking through the airports, my knee was ok.  That is a big NSV for all of us.
You go girl, it's happening.

Welcome Mrs. M!!!   I'm so glad you found our LW board and feel comfortable here!!!!  For me this has been the BEST Support system that I could have found.  I can't imagine where I'd be if I hadn't have found my LW's!!!

I haven't checked your profile but I hope you took Before Pictures, Measurements, and saved 1 outfit from your "fat" days.  Sometimes during a stall later on these are the only ways we can still see we are losing.  It seems like that during a stall we lose a lot of inches.

2 minutes on the eliptical will lead to 30 over time. I was able to do the 7 minutes and was super excited! Now I am up to 10 whole minutes! Funny how we think like this but it is the small things that keep us going. Way to go on the walking! The NSV's are the best i believe.

Hi Mrs. M.
The first time I got on the eliptical I couldn't even do it 30 seconds.  I thought I will never ever be able to stay on this thing, but I eventually worked up to a longer time.

Congratulations on your victories since your surgery.
