I'm home!!!
Hi everybody,
First I want to thank my "angel" Kimeroo, for forwarding my message onto these boards a few days ago (seems like a week!!). She has been a wealth of help to me these last few months, and so have all of you on this LW board, who just seem to "get me"... so "thankyou"
I was 1st up on Monday morning (around 7:30) and I was finished with an update to my family before 9:30. I guess I was sleepy, because I don't remember anything until 10:30, and slept on and off for hours. The hospital didn't have a bed for me until mid afternoon. I was able to meet two nice women once I was settled, and we were able to compare notes. All in all my whole experience has been good so far. In fact, Monday evening I rated my pain as a 1!!!! Now on Tuesday, let's just say I am NOT superwoman!!! I do, however feel ok today again, and so we will see.
For all of you gearing up for surgery, keep in mind it can be a good experience. I wish all of you the Best!
Kim
