Hey, I know as lightweights that we will not lose the huge amounts you sometimes read about but I am a bit worried that mine has slowed a little too much.
1st month - 19.5 lbs
2nd month - 12 lbs
3rd month - 9 lbs
4th month - looking like it will be around 7-8 lbs

I work out a minimum of 5 times a week, get my 60g of protein daily, all my fluids.  eat an avergae of 800 calories a day.

Any suggestions to kick the pace up a bit, or is this rate normal?

Thanks :)

I think you're right on track. My first month was 20, 2nd 9, 3rd 10, 4th 9 or so....

I met my goal at 10 months.

hang in there - you're doing just fine!

Looks about right to me too...keep on keeping on, girlfriend, you aer doing all the right things...we are required to get in 80gm protein...maybe you could a protein drink.  Otherwise I think you are on target.  I adv 10 lb a month x 5 months, not gonna happen this month!!!  But I gonna keep doing what I am doing.  Best of luck to you, try to be patient with your body.

I agree with Jane about adding the protein drink since with RNY we malabsorb approx 50%.
You are doing great though,  you are still losing!

Hey!  Your stats are about IDENTICAL to mine!!!  I feel like a slow loser too but it is slow and steady so I can't complain too much.

The funny thing about me is that I will stall for about 2 and half weeks (gain and lose the same 2 pounds) and then BAM....I will lose 10 pounds in one week!  WEIRD!!

We're gonna make it!  Didn't the turtle win the race??????

Looks like you are on track. Congrats on your success. Your numbers are almost identical to mine. No suggestions here, I want to know if you get any that work!

Your numbers look great.  But there's always room for more protein.  Try adding a protein shake or coffee.  It may be just what you need to keep the scales moving.

Keep on keepin' on sister!!
