I've been using this as an opportunity to talk about my WLS. I was very selective who I told about it prior to surgery. Now, I'm much more comfortable sharing with people. "No, I can't have candy. I had WLS and the sugars can make me very sick." Works for birthday cake too.
It is good to have the lightweights here to share with! Off to meet my friend for an early morning walk...

The weather is ugly here this a.m. It's gonna be a hellacious (sp?) commute.
I'm not too worried about the candy. I'm going on 3 weeks with zero processed sugar, so I'm pretty sure it's out of my system. But I will say one of my favorites is candy corn mixed with dry roasted peanuts. Tastes just likeable a Payday or your favorit Rock-n-Roll bar.

Candy has never been my downfall...I was/am all about the salty snacks. But I do like a baby ruth or twix occasionally. My kids aren't big on candy either, so we keep it for about a week after Halloween and toss it. I'm a little worried about DH, he is a candy addict, and he has already re-gained 20 pounds after he lost tons of weight with me.

I'm going to hold off until Saturday so I can have 1 small Snicker's bar. It might take me awhile to eat it because I am sensitive to sugar but I'm going to Enjoy every single bite!!
