before and 6 months out pics
168 lbs
Whew!!!! Couldn't figure out how to keep message open AND copy and paste two pics.
I have been agonizing over final wt goal, doctor/NUT haven't given me one. When I hit 170, I had about decided I didn't want to loose any more weight. 5'6", wearing a lot of size 8s, a few 6s, a few 10/12s still. I thought I was look sleek and slender looking in the mirror. After seeing new pics, decided I certainly look thinner, but not slender/thin. So I think I could really afford to loose another 20-30 lbs before anyone would call me skinny (except maybe my husband...he definately does not want me to loose anymore weight).
What do yawl think. I know I have to be comfortable with my own weight, regardless of what my husband thinks...but I think I should shoot for at least 145. At 5'6" wt should be 128-154 for nl BMI (but I am really 5'5 1/2"). Comments and opinions welcomed. To loose more weight or not??? Thanks in advance.

Jane - you look great and congratulations on getting the pics on!!
Your surgery was in May... you're 5 months out. Your active weight loss period is from 12-18 (sometimes longer) months.
A lot of people have an original goal then when they hit it decide they want to lose a few more pounds, and the families/friends say 'NO - YOU'RE TOO SKINNY"... that's because they aren't used to seeing us at the lower weight and size... (your hubby)...
So - what I'm saying is - lose as much as you want while you've got your tool at its best. The others will jump on the bandwagon with you. PLUS - you may not have a lot of control over it either... your body knows when to stop and where its happiest!! And when people would say to me "you're not going to lose anymore weight are you?" I just said "nope, I'm done"... then just keep doing what I want to do!!
So - just keep doing what you've been doing and let your body decide. That's my opinion!!
