Fitness Challenge - October 26
Yay...running capris. Got it. Will look online right now. I don't have a Fred Meyer here but know what you are talking about. I know we don't have it at Wal-Mart...so I will have to look around.
Yah, when I started out the first time, I did the elliptical (hands-free) to mock run...then worked up to C25K (iphone app...love it) and then was good to go. Can't wait :) I did my elliptical tonight and although I have noodle legs, I feel better...

I'm really sorry about whatever is troubling you. You already know we're here if you need us, but I don't think we can ever say it enough.
As for me, Shelby and I went for our run today. We did more distance, and I picked up the speed a bit. Then my 200 crunches and 40 pushups.
Tomorrow I start a new ballet class - this time at JOFFREY Ballet! Yes, THE Joffrey. My other series ended, and I started the new drop-in class, but it was just too elementary for me. So I'm starting a beginner ballet class at Joffrey, recognizing that *their* beginner is probably just right for me. If not, I can always bump myself up to an intermediate class later. Anyway, Wednesday's teacher is the one who teaches the pointe class, and he's the one who evaluates whether or not you're ready, so I guess I need to develop a relationship with him. I don't intend to start pointe until I get to the 130s (Holiday Challenge, here I come!!!) but it's good to get prepared, I suppose...
So that's my story, and I'm sticking to it! Shelby and I will start with a quick run tomorrow am, just for fun. I think I'm kicking up the routines a bit to meet my holiday challenge goal.

I mock ran on the elliptical today for 45 min...felt wonderful again!!! I missed it a lot. So, maybe I can hit the pavement (or treadmill) in another 3 weeks or so. Build up some stamina again because boy oh boy I felt soooooo outta shape!! lol

Ok, today is in the books as the official day I went back to the gym!!! Whoo hoo!!! I did an intense workout on the elliptical which didn't seem to be very low impact...lol....and boy I felt soooo outta shape it was crazy.
45 min on high intensity with some jammin musac and burned 425 calories. Oh yah, that's right...425!! I had to dust off the heart rate monitor and get it going.
So ***** slapping and ass-kicking has been completed and I have already planned what to do tomorrow. Taking it one day at a time.
I love you all for your support and you cannot say it enough..you are there for all LW's!!!
So for now...it's pop a few tylenol (cuz I'm sure the body will be sore a bit) and call it a night!
