Good Morning!!!!!! It's going to be 77 degrees here today but we are expecting high winds. Not sure how to dress....I Love the fall, but hate in between clothes seasons.

Morning Roz-
We had some crazy weather here also. Most of the storms have moved out but it's still really windy and has been for almost 2 days now.
Probably another busy day at work so I'm going to post early. I may have to do a little tweaking later this evening but here is the plan.
B-frozen protein shake (4:45 am- followed by lots of coffee now 7am) 30g
S-protein coffee 30g
S-protein coffee 30g
L- 1/2 c chile (no beans) with f/f cheddar, crunchy breadstick 20g
S-sm wedge of l/f colby-jack cheese w/small crunchy sesame breadstick 5g
D-3oz roasted chicken breast, lettuce with f/f shredded mozzarella & s/f vinegarette 30g
S-frozen protein shake 30g
I'm really a happy with my protein drinks these days, almost to the point of preferring them over food some days. The stats are pretty good also.
30g protein = 135 calories, less than 1g of fat and only 3 carbs.
I started typing this at 7am. It is now 8:45 and I'm finally just now getting to submit it. It's gonna be one of those days.

I was really proud of myself today. The teachers and staff at one of the elementary schools prepared and brought in lunch for the staff at my middle school today. There were probably 7 or 8 crock pots. They made sloppy joes, beef stroganoff, chili, chicken soup, brocolli cheddar soup, tortilla soup and apple brown betty dessert. They also had little sandwiches, assorted crackers, corn muffins and those Hawaiin rolls. I was very grateful and thought it was incredibly thoughtful of them to do this but I chose to eat my lunch a little later after everyone had finished and I stuck to my planned menu I had posted this morning. I knew yesterday that there would be lunch today but I went ahead and made the conscious decision to pack my lunch this morning. It feels so good to be in control. It wasn't that I couldn't have it. I could have if I had wanted to, but I didn't care to. I even lifted the lids and smelled each simmering dish as we were helping to set it up. But at the end of the day...it was just food. I can't tell you how good it feels to say that and mean it.
Thank you again for all of the time and effort you put in to keep up with menus and miles. I know it helps you too, but I also know the busy life you lead and I appreciate you making time for the lw's. I need this now more than I ever have in this journey. Just know that, you have played a big part in helping me turn things around.

Today I am getting back to basics. I picked today because, well, yesterday was part of an extended weekend so in essence its my monday. So, fresh start for the day/week. I have been in a depression funk (for lots of various reasons) and last night I was laying down in bed right before sleepy time and thought...screw this...I'm done with feeling like this...So, today I push forward strong and proud!!!
I have my 9 month follow up with the surgeon today (late I know) and so because today is 'weigh-in' I'll have a light eats morning. No plan either but it will go something like this:
B - protein coffee (24g & 120 cal)
(weigh-in @ surgeons)
S - Protein Bar (20g & 230 cal) change in plans today...meetings...ugh
L - Ostrich stick (14g & 80 cal)
S - protein shake (35g & 170 cal) & serving fiber one all bran (2g & 60 cal)
D - meatball marinara subs (23g & 70 cal)
S - protein shake (24g & 120 cal) In the form of protein hot chocolate!!! YUMMO!!!
Protein: 113g (goal - 100+)
Calories: 950 (goal 1000'ish)
Vitamins: done
Water: 74oz (goal 96oz minimum!)
Miles: 45 minutes of intense cardio workout on elliptical machine. 425 calories burned in 45 min @ high intensity
My goals have not changed. I am trying to lose this last 8 pounds and need to focus on the basics while I reset myself emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Good Morning! I'm getting ready to start homework, hoping to get done with my last unit in my math class for the semester, then I can start working on the next class, my instructor gave me the syllabus already and it uses the same book.
B: 2 protein coffee
S: another protein coffee
L: 1/2 sandwich, sugar snap peas, string cheese
S: carbmaster yogurt w/kashi cereal
S: protein & decaf
D: 3oz pork tenderloin
S: carrots, apple w/PB2
Cal: 1093, Fat: 15, Carb: 92, Prot: 162
Water: 80oz so far(must have been dehydrated?), Vitamins: Done
Exercise: 65 minute treadmill high incline and speed, 50 push-ups, 200 crunches
