The Avatar Challenge...

LWs!

I'm tired of my picture already.  (And I was 15 lbs heavier when I took it.)

And, I will admit that I'm tired of yours, too!

Might we consider updating our Avatars this week?  I realize that some of you are using professional photos, so no need to change those, and others of you don't even put your photo up for reasons that are important to you - even those could change, though, with a new picture of whatever you would want to have reflect your image on here.

Anyway, I think it could be fun to take some time this week to figure out a new picture.  So much of what we do on here is change together.  So let's demonstrate that change by updating the face we present to one another!

We can take this as an opportunity to consider staging a photo that really reflects where we are right now - not just in weight, but in style, interest, etc.

You with me???

I'll plan to have my new pic up by Friday night.

Let's have some fun!

Sounds great!  I just put a new one on last week which I took on my 7 month post-op day, down 78# wearing my size 10 jeans!
Some people might have trouble figuring out how to do it, I read another post with a link and thats how I did it (before I had to have my DH do it, LOL!).

Oops, sorry, I just know I am not very good with the computer stuff.
Thanks for the compliment........... and I agree, I think we should keep our avatars updated, it is so encouraging!

BTW, to upload a new profile picture/avatar, just follow these easy steps:

1. Look at the top of your screen for the blue bar, where you'll find "MY OH" - click on it.

2. Go to "Photos"

3. On the left, you'll see your current avatar/photo. Click on "change avatar" and...

voila! The uploader will appear. You'll just need to have a picture stored somewhere where you can find it.

If any of this poses a problem, feel free to consult your local teenager, which I've started to do...

Also, if your photo is too large, you might need to shrink it. This website is a great help:

I put my newest pic up in my profile last night.  Zach took it in New Orleans.  It's my 60th birthday pic.  I will try to post it in my avatar.  I tried last night but it was sideways.  Now that would be a challenge, just looking at my sideways avatar!  :)
