I think I've had the foamies twice this month and both times it started 15 - 20 minutes after I ate. I didn't think I over ate either time.
Have Fun Tonight! It looks like we are going to enjoy a nice quite evening at home. I might actually start sorting the clothes that I never got to last weekend.

trying to do without some carbs again this week...didn't like the apparent 2# gain last week though it might not have been a true gain but I didn't like it anyway...

I am trying out this new (to me) protein shake made from milk from grass fed cows and what I was hoping might be more healthy. I don't know if I can keep on with the amount of sugar,carebs and cals and not so much protein. I bought 3 tubs of it and will probably finish them aand see how my weight loss does while using them. the taste is fine,in fact there is no protein taste or smell...when I open the tub it smells like caramel....we shall see.
Hey LW's-
I slept in and woke up with a sinus headache this morning so all I've had is a protein shake and it's almost 3pm here so I guess I need to go find something to eat.
I told you all that my DH has been on the wagon with me and he's doing really well. He's lost 15 lbs in the past two weeks. Men!!! Anyway I asked him what he wanted for dinner and he said steak would be okay and then he grinned real big and said or a big bowl of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. I didn't miss a beat and said I'll make you a protein shake. lol!!!! So I guess dinner later will be steak and salad or asparagus and if he behaves himself I might just make him a frozen protein shake for a treat this evening.

PS- would it be bad to have another protein drink on days when you have had 2 already??
I say no, in fact it would probably be good. There are several of us, as we get further out, who believe protein drinks are our "bread and butter" so to speak of successfull maintenance. We realize it goes against the conventional wisdom of the surgeons and the nuts, but you can't argue with results. The shakes/drinks are satisfying and assure us that we are getting in the maximum much needed quality protein. Then your regular food is just a bonus to your totals. I speak from experience that when I quit drinking my protein, I was not satisfied and began snacking and then it was welcome to the world of bounce back weight gain. So we live and we learn our lessons and then we get back on track and in my case I wonder why I ever quit drinking them because I love them. I guess I'm just a slow learner. lol.
...Just my two cents or my 3 drinks/shakes = 120g of quality protein.
So throw another back and enjoy missminime!!!
