WLS for 35 BMI?
Studies show that people with 50 lb. or more to lose have almost no chance of losing it and keeping it off for even 2-5 years let alone the rest of your life! To me, WLS isn't about losing weight, it's about keeping it off.
It's also about quality of life. Even if you are relatively healthy, your weight is keeping you back in every part of your life, whether you realize it or not. It wasn't until I lost the weight that I realized all the ways it was negatively impacting my life 24 / 7.
Now I have more energy, shopping for clothes is easier, meeting new people is easier, exercising is easier, heck just getting out of bed in the morning is easier.
IMO, you can't put a price on that and it's what WLS can give you -- a life!
So that's important too.
