Good Morning. Loving Fall

This week was one month out for me.  The best part is that I have been able to wear clothing in my closet that I haven't worn for years.  It seems like every morning my husband says, "is that new?"  No, it has been in my closet for 3 years and I haven't been able to wear it.

I started with some resistance training yesterday.  I'm SORE today....missing Motrin.

Nice, Kay!  Just remember the immortal words of the crazy trainer:

Muscle soreness is just the weakness leaving your body!

Good morning!

I'm glad that I read your post, Gina, because I completely forgot that I need to look at some trees.  I don't see trees regularly, so I have to be deliberate about going places and finding them.  (I know, I know.  I live in a concrete jungle!)

I have 2 favorites this week.

1.)  I went to go scratch my side yesterday, and as I did, I hit this hard thing.  I was like, "what the h*ll?"  because I was worried that something was wrong, or that I was developing some sort of hard cyst or something.  Turns out it was MY RIBS.  Forgot about them!  They're all poking out and stuff.  I'm used to touching around my mid-section and feeling a soft pillow.  Now it's all hard!  (Well, not completely, but you get the idea...)

2.)  I get to see my niece on Friday!

Morning Gina!

I am happy when fall comes because then my DH doesn't have to work in the hot sun.  Personally I enjoy looking at the fall colors around the ponds and lakes in our area but I can't help dreading winter coming.

I have a vacation day on the 29th and my DH and I are going on a day trip.  Maybe we should go south instead of north to see the leaves.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

Morning all,

I don't know which I love more spring or fall...maybe fall.  The trees havn't changed down here yet, maybe soon.  It has been so dry though.  Temps now to low 70s, we were in the 90s two weeks ago!!!

I have loved wearing all my NEW smaller clothes...mainly size 8s!!! I am still wearing old size 12s from my "closet store", but they just don't show off my new figure as well!!

Have a good day, all.

No one has mentioned anything about Halloween!  I am enjoying this week because I am gearing up for our annual Halloween extravaganza!  We host a big party for my son's grade and an open house for our neighborhood.  It's kinda crazy for me in September and october because I'm so busy transforming my house, inside and out, but it's worth it. I love the creative process and trying to outdo Martha!  By the way, I'm not a nutso just for Halloween...I used to do event planning for a living, so I go all out for most Holidays. And the best part is inviting people to share in the fun.
