Ok, I'm going to give you a link to the DS board for an awesome thread for protein shakes and here's mine if you're too scared to pop over there. lol  Yeah, some of them ugly DSrs bite but most of us don't. Just put your flame retardant jammies on and take a peek.

1 - 20 oz shaker cup with wire ball
4 to 6 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, water, or milk
1 to 1 1/2 scoops of IDS Vanilla-Cinnamon protein powder (Champion Nutrition Chocolate, IDS Cappuccino, Nectar Cappuccino, Chocolate Truffle, etc.)
{shake} until blended

Add 9 to 10 oz of hot brewed coffee (decaf or reduced caffeine)
{stir} or brewed chai tea.

Pour into large mug

Add hot liquid to cold liquid to avoid lumps. Keep the protein slurry below 130 degrees.

Good Morning! Going to take the pre-nursing school test today. I was supposed to take it two weeks ago, but my step-sister went into labor early (she's 17), and my step-mom was supposed to baby-sit. So I'm re-scheduled for today.

I'm sitting here drinking a protein coffee right now.

1 scoop GNC Wheybolic Extreme 60
13 oz coffee
I let the coffee sit for a couple of minutes to cool slightly, but my protein doesn't really clump, even in hot liquid.

My favorite ready to drink shakes are the Pure Protein in the can.

Good Morning-

You all have already heard about my current favorite...choc protein powder with vanilla & butterscotch s/f, f/f pudding blended with ice.  I think I'm in the mood to do a little experimenting this weekend, especially with the hot ones.  I love my little frozen cups of protein Heaven, but I just shiver while I drink them.

Have a great day guys and gals!!

I'm not very creative with my protein.  I like the Syntrax Nectar Ice Team with Lemon.  Just protein powder and water.

Sipping it now.

My 2 favourites right now that I'm totally addicted to are:

Chocolate Banana

I weigh everything on a digital scale so I'm not sure how much it would convert into in cups etc...

29 gram scoop of Kaizen Vanilla (from Costco)
70-80 grams of 1% milk (maybe 4 ounces?)
1 tablespoon of fry's cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of splenda
6-7 grams of Jello Pudding (sugar free/fat free) Banana Cream.
5-7 ice cubes, the more ice you use the thicker the shake gets.

Pumpkin Spiced Apple Cheescake

30-40 grams (Apple mixture)
29 gram scoop of Kaizen Vanilla (from Costco)
70-80 grams of 1% milk (maybe 4 ounces?)
6-7 grams of Jello Pudding (sugar free/fat free) Cheescake.
10 grams of Graham Cracker Crumbs (sometimes - these add a bunch of calories so I only add them on days I have room in my plan)
5-7 ice cubes, the more ice you use the thicker the shake gets.

The apple mixture I made this time was about 300 grams of McIntosh apples, peeled and diced. 1/2 tablespoon of Splenda Brown Sugar Blend and maybe 1/2 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice.  I put it in a microwave safe bowl and nuked it for about 3 minutes until it was all soft.

The apple mixture and cheescake pudding mix is really good mixed into greek yogurt as well for a mock cheesecake!  :0)

I use a magic bullet or ninja for my shakes.

I had a really hard time with protein drinks in the beginning and can't STAND the smell and taste of them on their own, but I found by adding a little pudding powder and extra's I can't taste or smell the protein anymore!  :))

chocolate protein (I like Inspire Dutch Chocolate Cake from Bariatric Eating best), 4 oz milk, 2 oz cherry or black cherry SF syrup, 2 tsp cheesecake SF pudding mix.

Also, vanilla protein, 4 oz milk, 2 oz peach SF syrup, 1/2 packet raspberry ice crystal light or orange sunrise crystal light or strawberry energy crystal light.

Chocolate protein, 2 oz Irish Cream SF syrup (tastes like a mudslide, but not alcohol to trash the liver!)

Chocolate protein, 1 tblspn peanut flour (Trader Joes), 2 oz chocolate SF syrup (Torani or DaVinci - not Smuckers!).

I just got a bag of the new Inspire Cinnamon Apple Tart protein from Bariatric eating - tasty, not sure if it'll become a staple for me.

I mix moxt of these with a spoon and drink as a liquid. But sometimes, particularly the mudslide version, I'll do Cleopatra_Nik's XXX shake with a LONG time in the blender and wind up with a giant thick shake.

Lemon Tea is my absolute favorite and not very creative.

20 ozs water in the large blender bottle
1 stick Crystal Lite Lemon Tea
1 scoop Nectar Lemon Tea Protein Powder

Shake well, let sit so the foam goes down - add ice and gently shake.

I love it!!

I'm going to have to try some of the sf/ff pudding in my vanilla.

I also like to make a strawberry protein drink.

8 ozs Hood Calorie Countdown Milk
2 tsp Nestle quick low sugar strawberry drink mix
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Add ice
Mix in blender or magic bullet.
Taste kind of like a strawberry milk shake!!

Ok here's the ones I'm stuck on right now :)
I scoop of Nectar either Chocolate or Cappucino Flavored
blended with about 1/2 C to 1 C milk
coffee ice cubes (after brewing coffee in the morning, whatever is left over that afternoon after it's cooled pour into ice cube trays and stick in freezer!)
sometimes I add a little cinnamon or a sugar free flavored syrup
1 TB semi sweet choc chips

OR the Nectar Chocolate blended with some PB2 and 1/2 banana and ice

OR my Doc's office sells a protein Hot Chocolate made by Healthy Wise. I like the CInnamon the best and mix it with my Cinnamon Hazelnut coffee from Fresh Market for a nice hot treat in the morning or evening!
