I like it better with the sweater down or maybe with a belt like others suggested to show off your tiny waist.

The outfit really looks great on you without the sweater - you are sooo tiny!!!

Hope you have a great time on your date.

Maybe if you just looped one end over the other but didn't really tie it???
Linda, how sad about your goodwill.  We have a thrift store on every corner around here and I love shopping them.  Yesterday I bought a pair of Alfred Durner pants and 3 Tanner tops for $10.  I'm set until the next size comes up.

Wow, Jody!  Look at you looking so adorable.  If I could look that good in white pants, I'd wear them all the time!

I love the outfit.  It does look like a spring/summer look, though. A way to make it more fall-like would have to do with what you do with it accessory-wise.  Pairing it with a pair of brown heels/boots would look great (depending on the boot).  To add to Toni's idea, a brown belt at the waist would work quite well, too.  And if you had a neutral shell to wear underneath, like a beige, I think that would work beautifully.

Just another idea for the next time you wear it.  I'm so envious that you look so beautiful in white!

As for the top, I really like the way it looks hanging down as it does on you.  Up here, I see women wearing those with leggings - it's a nice way to add some volume to a form-fitting look.  To pair that sweater with a pair of navy leggings with just a pair of ballet flats would look great for a fun casual look.

Rock it, mama!

What kind of top would you wear with the navy leggins?  A shell of some kind?

Great idea on making it more fall like - I tend to stick with white shoes with white pants...

The main reason I wore the white pants today is because I wanted to wear this shirt - and it looks great with white, and not as great with black... Its kind of a maroon tie-die look and I love the shirt.  The white makes the maroon pop!  And the shirt shows off my curves quite well.. hehe..  I'm going on a date tonight.. gotta look my best, right?

I think I'll change the shoes and perhaps put a belt on before going out- change it up a little!!

Oooh!  The clarity of the new pics helps a lot.  I see it better now, and LOVE the shirt!  It shows off your body beautifully!

I think that the "rule" is that you can wear white definitely.  Just on the clothes.  Not the accessories until summery times.  So white shoes, belts, etc are better left to summer, which allows the fun pairings with brown, neutrals, etc.

At the same time, who cares about rules?  I sure don't.  (You'd know that if you saw what I wore all last week...)

The key is to rock whatever it is you wear.

I haven't been brave enough yet to wear white, but on you it looks GREAT!!!

No deals for me.  Shopping for myself has been on the back burner until after Christmas.

I have decided to wear white this winter.  In fact today I am wearing awhite sporty looking jacket, trimmed with black zippers everywhere, black tee, and white, supper snug pants with black suede, black patton trimmed healed half boots...wish I had a camera to show you.  I also got a black and white weather lepard looking vest I will wear with a white tuffed blouse and white slacks and a white jeans jacket with rhinestones...so yes, I will, will be wearing white, white, white this winter, not just winter white!!  Hope the fashion police don't show up LOL.

I like your jacket down...try adding a red, silver metal belt, turqouise (or any color...if you want a splash of color) but it looks great just like you are wearing it.  You look so slender!!!

Oooo - I want to see a picture!!!  That's sounds so great!

I bought some white jeans a few weeks ago on clearance at Macy's - waiting for the right time to wear them too.  With the ideas I've gotten here, I think I'll have some ideas on how to do that!
