Its a lot less of a big deal than everyone makes it out to be with all the preop testing n all ....
walk walk walk BEFORE as much as U can to get Ur circulatory system n lungs into great shape .. Follow Urdocs pre op diet religiously ....

This is the BEST thing thats ever happened to me bar none . WE are SO INCREDIBLY LUCKY to have gotten approval forthis lifesaving surgery when so many people who need it CANT .

and i wanted this surgery so bad my surgery was the day ofr my daughters 29th birthday and my family didnt want me to do it in mexico ( i was a self pay)
so they thought i was crazy . so can u imagine thre guilt god forbid something went wrong on her bday ? yikessssss but the excitement was far more intense
and dont worry, we will all be here telling u " to knock it off and get on with life "

I would go for the earlier date, and be done with it...
I know there can be complications, but they are rare. I work in the health care profession and I see those rare complications....but I am fearless..was anxious a little at times, fear of the unknown, but fearless. I trust GOD to take care of me. You can take better care of others if you take care of yourself first. Good luck with your decision.
