Anyone up for a daily Bookend post?

Back in September, my first time posting here with LW, Lee came up with a great idea called 'Bookending'.  I think it is a way that you can get things accomplished that you normally struggle or procrastinate with.  Here is how Lee described it.....

I used to have clutter and how I tamed that was to bookend my tasks.  I'd call someone and say, "my task is X and I'm not stopping until it's done". With bookending, we call at the start of the task, then call when it's completed.  There's something about being accountable that really works pretty well.
And since I enjoy words and their meanings, I found a couple of simple definitions for the word bookend that make complete sense when put into this context:

A prop placed at the end of a row of something to keep it upright.

Any device that bears the weight of another thing.
So just as we have Menus and Miles and Fitness Challenge that help us stay accountable, should we also try out a Bookend Post for a while and see how it goes?  Who wants to start?

Yay!  I "cleaned" out my undie drawer!!  Out with the BIG and in with the SMALL!!!  I bought some new ones and threw out the old ones.....I think I had about 5 different sizes in there!

I'll try another task tomorrow!  THANKS for the nudge!!

Great idea.  I went through all my pants and cleaned out the big ones.  Yesterday, I delivered them to a friend who started the journey at the same time but was heavier and will be in them soon.  Still have to tops to do but felt good to get some of it gone.

I finished all my weekly homework yesterday, and I will get to work on my big paper & presentation due in a few weeks.

Here's mine:

I have not had a single day off (not a weekday, not a weekend day) since mid-September, and haven't been in touch with family, really.  

Today I will find the time to call my parents and to schedule time with my sister and niece.  

OK!  Now it must happen.

Yay!  Talked to my dad this morning (just after posting this) and sent a note to my sister to try to see them on Friday.  This is progress!
