Is there a big difference?

Hi LWs!

I know many of you saw my post yesterday about making it to the 160s.  Now that I feel closer to my goal of 130 (first real goal, anyway, I'll probably set something lower once I reach it) I'm wondering what that might feel like, look like, you know?

So, for anyone who's been through this before, I guess I'm wondering if you remember there being a big difference in your body between these weights?  (Like between the 160s and the 130s?)  Or, in your experience, did you have to drop to a lower weight to see the kind of major difference you were looking for?

I know these questions aren't that clear, but hopefully you know what I mean.  I can't think of a better way of asking them.

Thanks!

I would absolutely say  30 lbs is a gigantic difference  ESPECIALLY  fora LW .   U may  even find that 130 is the perfect weight for U Rosa.

Its so not about he numbers ....  people  have different bone densities and muscle mass.

And if U  tend to cary Ur weight  in the lowerbody as opposed to the ( much less attractive ) torso  U  can only lose so much before U start to look gaunt in the face ....

I was ecstatic when i lost my weight ....  that much i remember well ..and though im a smaller size now ...  well it FELT wondrous ...

it also  did redistribute a lot  so  I wouldnt sweat  a little skin here or there ... on the other hand  ....lifting  a bit of weights in a gym really helps  with that  stuff and the contours too  ....as I am sure does dance  ...

Thanks, Ava!  Yes, I'm happy with the contouring so far.  I don't have any loose skin yet, though I know it could come at any point.  (This is more from genetics and age than what I've been doing, I think, but still, I work hard at exfoliation/moisturizing, too.)

I just want the pesky weight off my thighs.  When they finally SEPARATE for good, THEN I will be happy.  I don't ever remember that happening in my younger years, though, so it might not now, either.  But that's when I know I'll be happy.

I think.

I haven't gotten there yet.  I am 5'6" and 170, size 8/10.  Goal wt 154.  What I have found is that I am perfectly happy with current wt.  I can't believe it!!!  I don't want to feel like a failure not reaching goal, but I don't really have any desire to be a size 6 either.

I think you will find a hugh difference in 28 lbs., and might even be happy at 130, you will probably just have to wait and see how you feel and look, but don't be surprised either way.  As was mentioned we are all shaped so differently.

It's so exciting and the anticipation can make us anxious...try to be patient as it unfolds.

That must be such a wonderful feeling, being comfortable with where you are.  This inspires me!

My body doesn't feel any different at 133 than it did at 254 - but I can move more, I have more energy and flexibility, and am definitely healthier! But as far as my feeling like there's a change - nope, head hasn't caught up with body yet.

I think you will see yourself go through sizes a lot quicker in the 160 to 130 range.  I go to lower sizes faster now than I did in the first 75 pounds.

I think you will see a good difference from 160 to 130, especially your bones being very noticeable.

You are doing a great job.

Thanks, Linda!  And that's really helpful to know about the sizes at the lower weights. I can't tell you how excited I was to fit into my first 8s, and to wear my first smalls (in tops).  To wear a 2 or a 4 is like HEAVEN, especially because then I'll FINALLY be the same size as my mom.  (That's going to drive her nuts!)

bruhahahaha

I think once you hit 160, your energy level will be going through the roof, so energy wise, you may not notice a huge difference between 160-130.

But size wise?  Yes, Linda was right - this is when the sizes seem to change very quickly.

Here's a history of how I looked at the various weights (months really).
