Am I on track?
I think you're better than on track...you're ahead of the track. lol We do slow down the closer we get to goal...less to lose and all that. You're doing great though. Rock on!

Average with RNY is to lose 20 pounds the first month, then ten pounds a month until month 6. After that it is usually very slow. I think it took me three months to lose five pounds after year one. The honeymoon phase still continues in that you can work at it and continue to lose until about the second year. Also you will almost never gain during the first two years.
Sometime after year two, for me it was 2 years, six months, the body seems to learn how to more efficiently absorb what you eat and then it is not unusual to gain 20 pounds with no changes to your food or exercise.
There are just averages and my personal experiece. Everyone is different.

I think you are right on track and probably a little ahead of the game. It will slowwww down and you'll have stalls and hit plateaus but as long as you follow the "rules" you will be in good shape. The bounce back is real. It doesn't happen to everyone but it does happen. I'm fighting it at 2+ years out but I only have myself to blame for that, not my surgery. I am honest about it and I am doing something about it. Hang in there. You are doing great!!!
