Now, I just have to wait for BCBSwny to send payment to my surgeon's office for the appointment, because he won't schedule my surgery until they receive payment. I called BCBS yesterday, and they said they should have it in 48 hours. So, I should get a call by the end of the week with my official surgery date! So excited, and nervous.

yeah, I know, I think it's a ridiculous rule. I have never had a doctor do that before having any surgery. I wonder if maybe they've been screwed over a couple of times, or the insurance companies took too long to pay out or something. I just find that odd. I didn't think to ask why when I was there.
