Menus and Miles Monday Oct. 18th
As long as I get my Protein Drinks in, I really don't worry about my carbs because I don't usually eat "bad" carbs like white bread, potatoes, rice, or pasta. I don't worry about the other carbs like fruit, vegetables. and whole grains. I just notice every day that your carb totals are usually pretty low. I guess I really don't know where mine are at.

I am going to change my ticker. That was my surgeon's goal, but I want to atleast get to a normal BMI so I'm going to change it to that.
I have tried not tracking mine on the weekends, but I feel so lost not putting everything down. I'm hoping the carbs in the calcium chews are good carbs!! I am trying to relax some with this and still stay on track. I am very compulsive about things!! All or none and that got me to my heighest weight so I need to find a happy medium somewhere...
DTB= ice tea and 1 sesame breadstick (drive time breakfast)
B=chocolate/hazelnut protein coffee (30g)
MM=deli turkey and 1 sesame breadstick (mid morning) (10g)

LA= choc/van/butterscotch protein shake (late afternoon) (30g)
D= ?? roast chicken, asparagus, strawberries w/Walden Farms s/f choc dip (25g)
E= choc/van/butterscotch protein shake (30g)

Carbs - need to add them up, but what you see is what you get
Time for me to be accountable. I have been eating this way for the past week very successfully and thought it might help to log it in menus and miles also.
Thanks again Roz for keeping the thread going daily.

What do you use for the butterscotch in your shake? I've been using SF Peppermint Paddy syrup and I love it, but it would be nice to have something else I could try too.
I bought some crunchy cheese breadsticks awhile back that had added to the protein totals too. They were pretty good.

I use choc protein powder and add less than a teaspoon of s/f f/f pudding mix in vanilla and butterscotch. I've been mixing them in the blender with ice and I am in Heaven!!! The butterscotch gives it a caramel flavor. I'm sure the butterscotch would be really good with straight vanilla and really good warm. Mmmmmm mmmmmm mmmmmm!!
