Fitness Challenge - October 18

Good morning LW's!! 

So you all had 3 days off from me nagging at ya!! I hope ya'll had a fantabulously fun weekend! I had a great time off. Nothing exciting, just time off with the hubby and the young boy who will be a ripe ole' 15 this Weds!! 

So, what do we have on the agenda today for fitness? I think today I will brave the gym after work. My mind will be very tired after reviews BUT I can release some tension by doing the elliptical. I notice at least for me that stress of any kind likes to build up if I don't go for a walk or do some cardio of some kind. 

So, how about you? What will you do today? Any goals for this week?

I'm pretty much taking a rest day after running that half marathon yesterday. I can seriously barely walk. Wish I was allowed to take ibuprofen!

I will work on stretching today. :)

Wellllll.... (shhhh don't tell anyone) but I take ibuprofen on occasion.  Not regularly, BUT - if I have an ailment I know it will help, and nothing else will, I take about 600mg of it.  I make sure I have food in my stomach too....

After Zumba last Monday I had pulled something in my hip.  It was an inflammation of some kind and I took some - yes it helped.  And often I only have to take it once...

Yep - I break the occasional rule, but I definitely don't abuse it!

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

Good morning!

I am going to walk 30 minutes at lunchtime today if it's not raining.  This chiropractic appointment 3x a week at 4:30 is wrecking my morning walk to work as I need my car to get to the appointment.  Hopefully it won't be too many more weeks of this.  I'm really sad that my exercise routine that it took months to achieve is getting wrecked.  I won't be home until 8pm tonight but I may try to hop on the treadmill for 30 minutes if I can.

My goal for the week is to exercise at least 30 minutes a day 3x and walk the  lake (3.5 miles) at least 4x.

Diana - I'll be going to Zumba tonight.  Got up Saturday and went too - It was hard and I wanted to be lazy, but was glad I went! 

I've been having some issues with my knee and now my hip.  I haven't been doing the treadmill, so its contributed to zumba.  The room we do it in has a mat floor and can make it tough on the knees... I'm trying not to do too much sliding around, but actually picking my feet up more...

I may get to the gym early and do the treadmill for awhile.  I have some errands to run too, so we'll see!

Great job...i love the feeling when the lazy bug sets in and we beat it...feels great.
