Lost the equivalent of my granddaughter

Our entire family was together today for family pix:  DH, 2 sons and their wives, daughter and her DH and all 3 grands.  When I commented on my weight loss over the last 4 weeks my daughter pointed out that I had lost exactly what my 6-month-old granddaughter weighed at her checkup last week.  Wow!!  That really made me smile!

Woo Hoo.  That's great.
When I thought about losing weight, I compaired it to carrying around a 50 lb feed sack.  Well, some are 40 lbs, and I have now lost that much.  One feed sack that I am no longer carrying around all the time.

That's great!

Last year (not sure what board it was) someone posted a list of items and their weights and compared weight loss to them.

I like to say I've love 9 ten pound bowling balls or a 5th grader!!  LOL

Good on ya Katrina!  Great realization wasn't it?

A few weeks ago I lifted 2-20 pounds bags of rice.  When I realized that I used to carry around 3 of those AND a 10 pound bag all at the same time, I about fell on the floor.

We are so strong, simply by virtue of what we used to lug up the stairs everyday.
