Congrats!!!

Your post motivated me go and try on all my winter coats and THEY FIT for the first time in yrs....even a little big.  I haven't been able to button them in forever.  I even cleaned out a small winter closet!!!  Found a couple of sweaters and slacks that I will keep, and bundled up the rest for the Women's Shelter.

Thanks for the motivation....now if I could get the motivation to clean out my regular closet LOL.

Gotta go fix lunch for the family... Wishing you continued wt. loss and WOW moments, Andrea.

Isn't that an awesome feeling to go and try on old clothes and find out they are too big and we can give them away, put them on consignment, whatever, we decide to do. Good for you!!!!! Thanks for letting me know.

Bravo Andrea.  The small victories are what turn into huge victories when we string them all together.

I think you and I run neck and neck for slowest loser but we're both going to get to goal.  The last few months for me have been 3-4 pounds a month.  Not much, but crawling down that scale in a positive way!

I think that early on I got it into my head that not achieving goal in under 9 months would be a failure.  It's made me take a good hard look at the fact that there are other factors besides food and exercise that determine how long or short this journey is.

Having a back injury last weekend has really put me into a funk and fear of not being able to exercise as much as I was.  I was telling my chiropractor that not only is it a physical setback, but also a mental/emotional one as well because it brings up the fear of failure and not accomplishing what I have worked so hard towards.

So yes, I'm with you.  It's the getting there that matters, not how long it takes.

Lee, try not to let this get you down.  I found a few times when I let up on my exercise a little, I lost weight.  You are such an inspiration to many of us, I would hate for you to get "down" emotionally/mentally.  Also hope you have a speedy recovery, knowing exercise makes you feel better.

Congratulations Andrea.  Those are great WOW's!!

I know how good it feels to not have to get on my hands and knees and crawl to the couch or chair to get up off the floor when I'm playing with my DGD's.

It is a great feeling to be able to  move freely and not be so inhibited my extra pounds, isn't it? Thanks for your support. I really appreciate it!

Love this post!
So inspirational are the nsv's!!
Did you notice too that it takes more water in the tub to cover you up past a certain area? I thought that was funny the other day when I filled the tub as usual and it barely covered up my butt!
Congrats and enjoy Andrea!!!
