This has been such an Awesome 2 years!!!   I'm feeling Great and feeling Successful.

Last night I overheard a woman and her waitress talking about how she was on WW and so it was going to take her a little time to look over the menu.  It brought back so many memories of 22 years of joining...losing...gaining...joining....losing....gaining.  Why did I put myself through so many years of that?  I weighed 2 pounds heavier on the day of surgery than I did the first time I joined WW 24 years ago.  The first time I joined I lost 75 pounds and I kept it off for about a year but it was a huge struggle.  After that no matter how many times I joined I never lost more than 15 pounds until I gave up.  My excuse was: I'm just to busy to keep track of what I eat when really it was  too many quick fast food meals in between running my 3 daughters to all of their activities.  McDonalds was even my Choice for my Last Meal...now I can drive past McDonalds without even a thought of stopping.

Thanks to ALL of my LW Friends!!!! Thanks for your advice and encouragement!!   Thanks for listening to my drama, family problems, and  WOW's!!    Any time I share my WLS experience with anyone who I think surgery would help I give them this website.  I can't even imagine being successful without all of your support.  I don't know how anyone could ever go through this alone and without sharing with others who understand.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!......

Prayers and (((HUGS)))

Roz

Thank YOU for being such an inspiration to us.

I'm 3 weeks out and so very happy I did  this.  The very thought of a hamburger makes me want to gag.  I am liking "discovering" new foods I would not have looked at before but that are so high in nutrition.

Here's to all of us "losers."  Congratulations and KUDOS, Roz!!!!

Oh Roz...you are such an inspiration to me. I feel exactly the same way about this group. Thank you so much for your dedication to paying it forward and keeping us newbies on track. It is your heart and character, and that of the other core women here, that makes this such a wonderful place and I feel so lucky to have found you. I celebrate your surgiversary too! Congratulations on 2 years of hard won success.

Bravo!!! I am still so confused and uncertain. I read your posts and think, maybe I can do this..... I'm perfectly in synch on the WW, lifetime member, but it never lasted. Thanks for being there for all of us.

You CAN do this!!!!!!   I know some have struggled but this has been the easiest thing I have ever done!  Your tool will let you know who is boss and you just need to follow the rules and listen to it.

Besides enjoying the Protein Drinks, the main reason I stuck with them is because if I get my Protein in then I don't have to calculate my food totals.  I will never add up Points again!!!!

Roz - congratulations on your very well-deserved success!  You have been the one that has kept me on track many times.  I appreciate your willingness to tell me what I NEED to hear, not necessarily what I WANT to hear!  And as far as I'm concerned - we're all one big family here, so many personal triumphs and tribulations to share - and that's what we do.

You've been an inspiration to me too, and its been wonderful being on this journey WITH you for the past 2 years.  My anniversary is next week... and its SO hard to believe its been 2 years already.

It also was great getting to meet you - so are sooo teeny tiny!  When was that - a year ago?

We love you too!
