Hi Cindy,
I really miss this post. Thanks for starting it back up.

1.  My favorite color right now is a light green.

2.  Challenges - All week long with my daughter being in the hospital and taking care of her 20 month old daughter!!  But we survived and she is now at home.  I did pretty good with my food, could have done better.  Really, Really wanted to stress eat and did one day.  Haven't worked but about 10 hours all week - have a deadline and board meeting next week.

3.  Plans for weekend - I'm going to have to go to my daughters and bath my DGD#2 because she can't lift her for another week (DSIL can't do the bath!!).  DH and I are hoping to go to the National Fair in Georgia tomorrow - we always love to look at the exhibits and ride the sky lift.  We need a break - get away day.  Will go see DGD#1 sometime this weekend.

Hope you have a great birthday Sunday!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hi everyone, been awhile since I posted..

fav color - deep greens or purples.

challenges -   YES, YES, YES!  still working through the ulcer, could be 3-6 months before it heals.  Have no appetite and seem to not want to eat.  Not getting anywhere near enough protein or water.  Remember when you were pregnant (for those of you who were), and that first few months where everything made you want to gag??  thats where I am.  Eating seems like such an effort, but I know I have to.  My nut gave me a sample of Unjury chocolate and it seems the most tolerable one so far so I ordered some.  I plan to make it and keep it in the fridge and do 2 oz "shooters" every so often to get the protein in.  Dont know what else to do. Very frustrated.  Dr. put me on Effexor yesterday and both doses I took so far have made me neasuated.  I'm quite the mess!!  Hopefully things will get better soon....   (sorry for the rant...geez, and this is such a nice thread too!)

plans - working on drinking and getting in protein. maybe shopping with my 16 year old daughter.  we need some mommy/daughter time.
Become what you believe..........  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

This is fun!

1. favorite color - if I can only pick 1, green. ANY color green. But in reality, any jewel-tone rich color. If I could, my house would be all bright, deep saturated colors.

2. challenges - mostly DH's schedule spilling over onto mine. He's had so much going on that I've been picking up slack at home for him, as well as having to participate in a bunch of them. So while I was going to get back to the gym this week, I was dealing with wood deliveries and winterizing the boat, and coming down with a cold, so I haven't even had time to read a chapter in my current book - and I'm typically an insatiable and fast reader. Nothing drastic as far as challenges, this is a pretty good life, just frustrating.

weekend plans - DH is working tomorrow morning, so I'm going to get my car's oil changed (it's late - ugggh), and buy yarn for new mittens to match my new winter coats (previous HUGE coat was red and black, current coats are brown or turquoise). If we get housework done in time, we'll take the Corvette out for a drive on Sunday - that's always fun.

However, if we can extend the weekend into Monday - we have an appointment with the plastic surgeon to discuss the best way to divide up my plastics and make plans for what will happen when and what I need to do about it! That's exciting!

Favorite color:    Red, really anything from yellow to purple
Challenges this week:  Traveling with a friend and sticking to the program.  I did fine, took snacks and found things I knew I could eat when I went out.  I love my pouch and that fact that it isn't grumpy like so many folks seem to be.
Weekend:  Scoreing a horse trial tomorrow, nothing planned for Sunday.  I will be so happy when I am released to play with my pony again.

1.  What's your favorite color?  Purple!!!!!  Love Purple!!!!

2.  Did you face any challenges this week?  One of my co workers lost her long time boyfriend Monday.  He was in the hospital and not doing well for the past 6 weeks, he finally went to a better place with no suffering.  She is a co worker that I've worked with the longest over my 12 yr career.  Services are tomorrow.

3.  Plans for the weekend? Well you can see some of my plans at the end of #2.  Usually go to our camper (seasonal parked camper) for the weekend, but both my husband and I are battling the flu...so no camper this weekend.  So, rearranging the living room and doing some laundry (slowly)!

By the way....Happy Birthday!!!!
