Foamies

I am five years out and am having the foamies.  I can not remember what causes them.  My story, my iron is low and Dr told me to double up on what I have been taking--really I have never taken as I should.  I have been taking a lot of Tender Iron the last few weeks.  I am scheduled for surgery icw a prolapse uterus in Nov.  I want to be sure my iron is okay, so I can have the procedure.  Constipation has been a problem since wls, but it is real bad with all the iron.  I have been taking laxatives/fiber pills for days without much results.  Well, now I am going but I feel nauseous and have the foamies.

Anybody tell me about the foamies?  and any advise icw the iron and constipation problem.

When I had the foamies it was either because I:

1.  Ate too fast
2. Didn't chew well enough
3.  Ate too fast

being bound up is what's causing the nausea I  bet.   Are you drinking lots of water with the fiber?  I heard once "fiber withou****er=concrete"...

Good luck!

Yes, I get lots of water.  I have to do something before I have this prolapse surgery.  I don't want to mess up this procedure.

Thanks

Wishing you all the best. About the iron...I'd switch to Proferrin ASAP. If you can get your doctor to prescribe Proferrin Forte that would be great. If you can't, order Proferrin ES online. Take 2-3 tablets a day, snapped into 2 pieces, they won't cause constipation. Proferrin is heme iron and much much more absorbable and less irritating. Vitalady carries it but you may be able to order it from other sites including Colorado Labs where it's made.

Good luck and keep us posted.
