Me as a Mummy and not for Halloween! **GRAPHIC PIC ADDED**

Yesterday I had my long awaited appointment to have my cyst removed. It was darn near the size of Texas! And smack dab in the middle of the top of my head so you can see it. I use to cover it with my hair but couldn't anymore because of it's size and no hair grew there. It was quite the procedure. They also had to shave a huge chunk of hair so I have a big bald spot. I haven't seen it yet but I am having the wrapping removed this morning. It won't be pretty. And talk about pain! I thought it was just removing a cyst...he precribed me vicodin. Now I know why. I was in such intense pain as the local wore off. And the swelling was horrible. They did a "scalp block" so I had a zillion shots all around my head and the top. Later my vision was blurred and they pain and swelling were intense. And I had to sleep last night propped up on pillows. Not fun! lol. So I'm told I have a 3" incision. It was huge. So I took this pic of me on the way home. Gotta be humorous about the whole thing.

Ever seen so much head wrap for a cyst? hehe

Melissa, I'm so glad you decided to have it removed.  I was wondering what you had decided.  I bet that once the ordeal is over and the pain stops, that you'll be glad you did.  Now you have a great reason for that bald spot.  I bet you get a ton of sympathy.  And look at that skinny minnie face of yours!   :)

That smile must have been before the local wore off, VBG.  Hope the rest of recovery is easier.

Holy cow!  I can't believe they had to shave that much of your hair!  I hope the pain is better today.  On the bright side, you have a reverse mohawk for Halloween.
