Thanks everyone; the chest xray was easy and painless. Strangely, the xray tech said she does at least 2-3 chest xrays a week for Bariatric surgery. She said it's mostly lapband though. So, I guess there are more people than I know with WLS in Chicago--I haven't met (m)any, but I guess it's taboo in passing conversations.

Now, as a person with small, deep, rolling veins, the blood draw was the most difficult. They had to stick me 4 times as the first 3 provided no blood. I always tell the plebotomists (sp), and they all think they are good enough, but usually only the MOST experienced can help.
