So I lost lots of hair starting at month 4 and now I'm six months out and it's slowed way down..
almost normal...and EVERYTHING is growing...nails....mustache...LOL...leg hair..eyebrows...
disgusting hairs under chin....you older ladies know what I"m talking about...I realize that after surgery nothing grew for a long time...I was rarely shaving or plucking...now it's all the time...so everything freezes up with anasthesia and now it's coming back...my hairdresser said I have sprouts all over the place. I have to say I am in a MUCH better mood knowing it's growing back...when the doctor and EVERYBODY said it would I did NOT believe them and it did bum me out to lose it...
So for all of you who might yet lose hair....do not worry....it WILL grow back...watch me start losing it again...LOL....I'm also at goal more or less...give or take 5 or 10 pounds...so that may have something to do with it...SEAVIEW

I thought from your previous posts that yours was growing back...at least it had stopped falling out...
I remember you saying something about having little sprouts growing on your head? If so it just takes time to grow out but the little sprouts grow about 1/2 inch a month...so imagine for your whole head...no secret here...you just have to wait it out...biotin...but I know  you take that...FYI I take
Biotin, B12,CQ10, Calcium, Bcomplex, Omega 3 fish, Flax seed Oil, 2000D a day, C, Multi Flinstones, Primrose, and 10,000 D once a month...grape seed extract, nothing out of the ordinary..
maybe it's the stool softener...LMAO.....So I went to get color put in today and left after she washed it out because I couldn't stand to see   my scalp through my wet hair...it's probably the hardest thing about the surgery...but once i'm home I don't think about it too much....is the rest of your hair growing on your body and your nails?..SEAVIEW

this is my biggest concern!!! hair loss
You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.~ unknown

I really think the hair thing varies from person to person. I didn't take any special vits -- no biotin, no extras from the normal routine -- and my hair came out in clumps for about a month, then stopped. Now I have lots of curly little growth too, but still have very thick hair.

Then, there are others who take lots of supplements and use special products who continue to battle the hair loss.

Just depends on your dna I guess.

I'm 8 months out and I swear I only have 3 hairs left on my head! It seems to be slowing down on the falling out part but, I sure don't see any growing back in yet! You are right about the facial and leg hair, it has definately come back full force!
