I talk to my nut more openly now than I did at first... she was dismissive of protein over 60 grams per day, and totally intransigent about ONLY whey isolate from their vetted list.
After I lost so much and went in to show her my bones, we talked about how their protocol DOES need to allow room for flexibility for some people, and we've added in more meals and good fats, as well as conceding that I do better (comfort and energy level) on 120-140 g of protein per day.
But it took a year to get there.
Our PA also talks about nutrition, so I also discuss some things with her, but always make sure that both know the same information.
