Insurance never received paperwork from surgeon's office
Well, my approval is being delayed a little bit.
My paperwork was to be submitted 2 weeks ago..last week I just had a feeling I should call the insurance and double check that they received everything. Glad I did, because they had nothing on file!
I called my surgeons office (the staff there is wonderful) and she immediately refaxed everything and called to get a reference # and assurance that they would begin reviewing it right away.
So I am waiting patiently LOL but may call tomorrow to see if anything has been decided.
I'm hoping for a date in Nov....my pre-op diet has been going great but I had a planned falling of the wagon this past weekend. Feel like poop now and know I need my tool ASAP!!

Good for you! You are very patient also! Linda is right, waiting is so hard. Hopefully your surgeons office has done a good job and they know what needed to be sent and the approval will be easy! Mine took less time than they said it would! That is great you are already losing, I didn't have time from the time I was approved until my pre-op diet started. I was afraid to lose any weight until I got approval. I did lose weight on the pre-op diet of course though. How exciting, keep us posted!

Gosh. I know that is disappointing. Sometimes just a piece of paper for them is the rest of our lives for us. Maybe they will hop to it now.
