I want plastic surgery so bad. I was going to schedule a consultation, but I know I need to wait awhile to allow for bounce-back, etc. Plus I'm in school full-time so it would have to be in the summer.

My advice is:  you can go get the consult.  They usually want you to be at a stable weight for 6 months (some Dr's are different).  I had mine 15 months after my WLS surgery and thought it was a good time to have it done.  THEN my weight all redistributed.

Honestly, maybe wait as long as you can so your body can adjust to where its going to settle, so when you have your surgery, you don't have a lot of changes afterwards.

I know if someone had told me that, I would have said "nope - I'm not going to gain, nothing will change.. I want it NOW!!" - LOL....  Once I found out the insurance would cover the panni, there was no stopping me!!

I'll end up getting a scar revision - that's what we'll talk about tomorrow.

I'm going to wait as long as I can...and I don't have enough skin or any problems, so I highly doubt insurance will cover any of mine. I'm actually starting to look into Mexico.

Nothing wrong with Mexico!  Take your time and do your research.

I actually had an appt last Dec and March (changed it) with Dr Sauceda in Monterray MX.  Lots of people on the PS board have gone to him and rave.  They also have a forum just for his surgery.  If you're interested, let me know and I'll give you the link.  People over there are really nice (and on the PS board too).  Very supportive and helpful.  I spent a lot of time there before my TT, and try to pay back with answers when others have questions.

I'm still considering Mexico... just not sure when or if it really will happen.

One step ahead of you lol. I have been lurking on those forums for awhile. If I do Mexico, it will be summer of 2012 at the earliest. We will have both cars paid off, and that's the first summer I won't have to take a single class. Plus the kids will be older and the girls won't have to go to daycare while DH works.

We started potty training the DGS today.  He is running around with nothing on and running to the potty when he has to go.  He has missed the pot one time today.

A doughnut?   That's one thing I haven't tried.  All that grease and sugar would definitely make me dump.  Then if I didn't dump I'd be headed for trouble.

How old is he?  They are so cute when they are training.  DGD#1 will tell you after she has gone in her diaper. They are 20 months old.

The doughnut made me feel funny, but it didn't make me sick.  I can tolerate some grease and sugar.  I usually don't have any problems not eating the junk, but today was not one of those days.
