Thank goodness I don't have a bunch of carby stuff in the house and I barely stopped myself from buying a bag of Cheetos at the drug store a minute ago. Dang!!
So, here I sit eating a small bowl of chili and already thinking about the protein shake snack I plan to have in a couple of hours. This is crazy! Argh!!

Gina, congratulations on not getting the cheetos!! I had to stop buying the Cheese flavored rice snacks because I couldn't quit at the serving size.
Every afternoon right after lunch, I can't wait for my lemon tea protein drink. I don't know why I think that is my afternoon treat but I love it sooo much. Weird how your taste and what you really like changes. I still have several things I need to stay away from and one of those is chips... I love them and can eat a lot of them still.
I do a lot better at work than I do just hanging out at home on the weekends.

Try Air popped popcorn.grrls ...and toast iit FIRST for best flavor before ya knock it .... if ya love the salty stuff ...dip it ito buterbuds or cheese flavored popcorn topping on the way to getting used to it plain.
its whole grain , extremely low calorie and U can eat potfuls of it wihout it showing up on Ur waistline .... its also CHEAP !!!!!
( i buy the organically grown bin popcorn at a food coop or whole foods - its worth the small price difference BTW ) - and heirloom corns like multicolor corn or navaho corn taste AWESOME..
Other yummo snacks ... cherries ... celery stix and a little ranch dressing powder mixed into fatfree sourcream or strained greek yogurt as dip ... squash cut up and rolledin shake n bake and oven fried
Who says good snacks have to come in a bag from a processed food factory lol ? At ridiculously expensive prices AND be bad 4 U ?! Ure probably better off calorie wise AND money wise making Ur own from fresh fruit and vegetables if U can get over the fact that it " looks"like a lot more because it has WATER in it !!! LOL

UGH!! Carbs! I had pizza and a breadstick today... BUT - I am doing a great job at staying away from chips and nuts.
