Fitness Challenge - October 7
Good morning LW's.
Today is my Friday...whoo hoo...I love my long days because I get Fridays off...(work 4 10hr shifts) but the long ass days are well, long...lol Anyways, we are coming to the end of the week which is great because then we get to enjoy our weekend!!
Today I have appointments and meetings starting in a few hours and not letting up until this evening. So, my fitness plan is to work my butt off and then go home and rest. Ha...ya, I said it...rest. Tomorrow I'll start back at the gym which is getting me all excited again. whoo hoo.
What are your Thursday plans or what did you do today?
Make it a great day today LW's!!

I gotta take the day off today. I think it's time to move to a 3 or 4 day a week schedule instead of 6-7. I feel like I am tearing my body up and that's not what I want. I push myself really hard when I work out now, always faster, longer, more incline, more reps, etc. It's so exciting to see what I can do these days, but I am feeling my limits right now. I'll be back at it tomorrow morning bright and early (well, dark and early really.)
Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi Shannon,
That sounds wise. OR, you could keep it at the current schedule and just schedule in lighter or different kinds of workouts. Whichever option (less frequent or less intense) works best for your body and mind!
If you've transferred a food addiction to a workout addiction (which I don't know if you have or not, but if this is true for you) then coming down from the high intensity may have some unexpected implications. Or maybe that doesn't apply at all!
Sending you support vibes as you work to figure this out!
xoxo

Hi Diana! Well, I went to Kohls THEN the gym last night. Did 30 minutes on the treadmill, ran for 25 of it.
Today I'm going to meet up with a girlfriend and we'll walk her neighborhood then we're going to a comedy show at 7pm. Otherwise I'd be taking the night off from exercise.
Got some GREAT deals at Kohls yesterday! Have to take back a shirt I bought in the Jrs dept - picked up a medium, and while it fits, its VERY body conforming and I'd rather it not be quite that tight... so I'm going to take it back and get a large. Also bought 2 new workout T-s off the clearance rack for $7 and $5 each.
This is my Friday today too! I have a 4 day weekend coming up! The weather will be great (for a change) and I'm looking forward to it.

Phew! Just made it on in time!
So today I went to ballet class. It was my last class before we start the next cycle. But that's ok with me; the next cycle starts up in 2 weeks, and next week I'm out of town (which is why tonight was the last one.)
Anyway, class was great! I'm getting stronger and stronger, and my extensions are getting higher, too. Little by little.
AND, this morning I walked across the Brooklyn Bridge! (In heels! It was unplanned.) My feet are angry, but I loved doing it. The woman I walked with his lived here 20 years and never done it, and I hadn't, either. It's soooo gorgeous and something everyone should do at least once, IMHO.
I usually don't work out on weekends, so this is kindof it for the next few days.
Happy exercising!
