Feeling worse than after WLS
Cindy, you made me feel better just to know I was not alone. I've been thinking the same thing WLS was much easier! I was moving more and felt better! Sounds like you had a rougher go of it than me though...was yours done before WLS or after? Just curious? Wish I didn't have to go through this, that they could have forseen this problem, but my insurance won't pay to take out a healthy gall bladder. Today has been better so far, I'm staying on softer foods and have been better about getting my fluids in. Thank you!

I'm so sorry this is such a tough spell for you.
Since the two were so far apart, I can't really say which was more difficult (I had the coly about 6 years ago) but I do recall having a longer healing period than I had planned for. Part of it was that I was being too ambitious and reached for something in the passenger seat, thus tearing an incision. That set me back for 2 weeks in pain!
Moral of the story: please take it easy and don't make my mistakes!
Good news is that it all got better, just as you will.
