I'm not really invincible....really?

I think I over did the exercise yesterday.  I woke up this morning feeling tuckered-out. I'm having a hard time keeping my head in the game at work feeling so slow  I'm beginning to doubt my invincibility.

I keep telling myself, that I'm only 16 days out, things are as they should be, but I'm not thrilled with feeling so draggy.  The head knows the truth, but I can't get it to cross over to my emotional side.  I think I feel the beginnings of a hormone dump.  I know, I know....NORMAL too!

I've got an overnight business trip for recruiting tomorrow.  I think it is starting to freak me out.  Someone else is driving and I'm planning on packing my food, but still eating away from home feels so intimidating.

On the plus side:
1.  I'm staying on plan with soft foods without any issues.
2.  A young lady at work told me that my work out was paying off and I looked like I was losing weight.  I replied " thank you."  10 days of clear liquids will do that for you, but she doesn't have to know.

Hanging in there!

Nothin' like a major surgery to remind us of this point, eh?

You'll feel as good as new.  Just not at 16 days out.  You're allowing yourself to heal, right???

You should be fine.  As long as you know your limits and pay attention to your body.  You have all the tools you need to succeed (as long as you make good use of them!)  So please, just be careful.  And have a safe trip!

I remember feeling so tired, but I promise it gets so much better.
I have so much energy now until about 830-9pm, then I am ready to go to bed!
