Anyone attending Houston OH Conference?

Have any of you ever attended an OH Conference? What are they like? Is anyone planning to attend the Houston conference Nov. 5-6?

Not me but it does sound interesting. I';m doing a driving event on the 9th with the pony in training. Plus, Houston is a long way from here.

I would love to eventually go to a conference! I'm hoping they'll have one in Atlanta someday soon! I've heard they are fun and informative!

I'd love to go to one some day. Dawn and I were talking about the one in Cincinnati this year, but decided to wait until it came back to Chicago... if it does.

I suppose I'd entertain the idea if I knew someone else was going and to share a room with. I'm ready for a weekend away....

I have been wanting to visit Houston too, so it's very tempting! And it would be so much fun to meet you! I looked at my calendar and I think I have a case of magical thinking (nothing new)! I don't know how I could ever jam a visit to Houston into that month, what with all that's going on already. I'm still considering restarting my tradition of our annual Halloween bash with 125+ high schoolers shaking the rafters of my house! I skipped last year due to the expense and the economy, but I feel like I have to make it happen again this year. It's a tradition. I host each kid's entire grade and decorate like mad- We have a DJ, fortune teller....the works. But I'm not sure my house, or the budget, can take another year. I used to do them back-to-back for all my kids' grades! Whew. I love Halloween!!!
