New Study! Insufficient sleep undermines weight loss

Working the night shift can be brutal on your body. Harvard did a long term study of nurses working the night shift and found they do not get the right kind of restorative sleep. It affected their health a lot.  I can't recall the details, but I think using S.A.D. lights helped.  It's worth looking up if you are in the profession.

well i do know that before my surgery, i would make sure i went to sleep early so i wouldnt eat snacks it really did work. lolol

Working nights definily helped with my weightgain.   I snacked all night long to keep the nausea at bay.

There was also a study that linked breast cancer to night shift workers as well.  I don't remember the details either....
