Surgeon's Goal Met

Finally!! Today I met my surgeon's goal. I had been getting really close and was hoping it would be yesterday, but today instead. I am one of those every day weighers. I went below last week but it was only for 1 day and then it bounced back up. This time I know it is for good...

I really want to go about 10 - 15 more to get to a normal BMI and then a little lower to have some bounce back.

Thanks everyone for all the support here. I could not have done it without you all!!

There have been so many improvements in my life since my WLS. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Hurray for you. I'm sure the next ones will come off to because you are so dedicated to doing this right.

Thank you Rosa. You are doing an awesome job yourself!! Keep it up. I sure wish I could get to NY for the get together. We do plan on coming up there in a couple of years for a sighseeing visit.

Thanks Jody. It is sooo slow now.
I hope you had a great time with your little granddaughter this weekend. I read where they might come and stay with you next week. Maybe mom needs another break and she knows that her mom will help her out!!

LOL - nope, she's on full mommy duty next week - if its a work week for me, I'm not going to be much help! I do think she'll be staying with me though - I hope she does!!

She'll be up visiting grandparents with Wynn. It was nice having her around - definitely makes you appreciate what new mothers go through again!

I'm so used to coming/going as I please, it was a definitely adjustment for me. I had even planned on staying home and not going anywhere, but then I had a coupon for Sat and wanted something from a store... well... had to find a sitter because I wasn't going to drag her through stores in her car seat... plus it was windy and cool out.

I'm glad you had a good time. I can't imagine being a parent again to a small child!! I was sooo tired by Sunday afternoon I could hardly move off the couch.

I hope they stay with you so you can enjoy her when you get off work.
