I think this is a great idea and wish I could be there. We're going on a cruise in Feb, so finances are going to be too tight for any other travel. 

We'll want to see lots of pictures, so line up a designated photographer, babeees! Enjoy!

I think Monday should be ok. The last I heard, my son's first rehearsal is Monday at 4pm. So as long as I am not too far from the 34th Street Macy's area, Monday should be fine.  

By the way... is this rude of us to be posting our plans so publicly? I know when I first joined OH, I got into a chat room where all the people were talking about a reunion gathering they had planned. I felt like a mosquito that was just buzzing around annoying them. I know it made me feel a bit left out. What do you think?

I think that the invitation has to be public, but the details don't.  (That helps keep it safe, too.)  

That way it's inclusive of whomever wants to be there, but not overwhelming.

 I know how you felt!  When I was in the chat room (the live thing you can pop into....ugh - never again)  Anyway, in the chat room there was one other gal not involved in this party and she and i were trying to have a little RNY, appropriate topic conversation, but the party talk kept knocking our conversation off the screen....  This was my first time on OH, mind you. ..... Finally I interrupted the Party talk by typing..."Da&*. -  why don't you get a room!".   That stopped them dead in their clickety clacking steps. They were getting rather raunchy. I backed down and made light of it though, darn it. haha.

Well, I think it is a wonderful idea and am very happy for you gals even though there is NO way I could come (live in Tennessee and just tooooo busy at that time).  But, I've always dreamed of visiting NYC and I feel certain if I ever get there (what am I talking about, I am GOING to get there eventually), I feel certain you gals would be very welcoming and gracious.  

So, on with your plans, ladies and toast me in spirit when you are all together.  I feel this board is the "home" I've been looking for since starting what was a lonely journey 2 years ago and now has become a reality.

HI NEW YORKERS!!!  Ok... I CAN DO MONDAY EVENING, NOVEMBER 22.  My son's rehearsal is from 4 to 8pm (at least that's the schedule as of today).  WHO'S IN????
