Oh man.  That's a crummy deal for her.  It's so hard to wait and wait, only to have to get in line for surgery all over again. But looking on the bright side, now that she has had influenza B, she will not be at risk for getting it for the rest of this flu season.  It would be really awful to get the flu while still weak from surgery!

You're a nice hubby, Carl. Good for you for posting this for her.

Give her a hug.

Hi Carl,

Please tell Rachel I said hang in there, I am thinking about her.

But also tell her there is a bright side to everything.  She will lose  more pre-op pounds.

will be looking forward to the up-date!

Sorry about the flu. I know how disappointed she feels at having to postpone surgery.  Time will pass, and she will be rescheduled.  When things like that happen, I try to tell myself that there is a reason for the delay and the timing is just not right.  On a personal note, my husband had a heart attack a few weeks before my scheduled surgery and it had to be postponed.  I took a deep breathe and rescheduled.  All went well, so have faith and hang in there.

Thanks for taking the time to update us!  I know she is bummed out but it's much better to be SAFE than SORRY.  This surgery is tough on our energy stores at first so it's better that she is able to build her strength again!
Tell her to hang in there!!!  A couple of days won't matter too much!!

Hope she will be feeling better soon!
Thank goodness this happened before surgery and not right after, even though I know she must be really disappointed.
