WAY TO GO!!  My first was last week... isn't a wonderful feeling of accomplishment?  I expected to finish closer to your time, but wound up with a 39:45, so I think we're (hubby and me) gonna do another one Halloween morning.  Are you going to keep going? :D

Wow, Toni- First of all, Gurl, you do NOT look old enough to have a son who is 31 AT ALL.

Second of all..... you ran a 5k???!!!!  GET OUT!!!  Good for you!  That's fantastic! You must feel so proud of yourself.  :)  Even if it was 'not easy', as you say... YOU DID IT! Bravo.

I also read somewhere today of your happy moment when a friend saw you for the first time since driving you to the hospital back when you had your surgery... and they said how great you look.  That must have felt so good.  I can't wait to have that happen to me.  Yaaaaay. These moments must make it all worthwhile.

Congratulations!  Running a race is on my list too!  I've walked 5k's but never run!  I'm trying to wait until I get down about another 25 pounds before I start running, to save my knees, joints, etc.!

You are awesome!  Way to go!!
