what are U enjoying wearing now U never could before WLS ?

 I  tried on some  winter white stuff today  in my fashion travels  and wondered  why i never  got it before  because it didnt look bad on me . Yet in past years it  was automatically on my  RULE OUT  list  . 

Well in the fitting room i finally figured it out .   Being torso, shoulder  and arm heavy  ..the  light color accentuated my  bad spots and made me look larger .  A white t shirt  under a dark cardi  or v neck was a MUCH more flattering look .

so  im definitely doing winter white for the first time ever  and loving it ....  also  tiny  leather jackets with  fitted jeans -  which i couldnt do because my waist was virtually the same size as my hips - and my upper body disproportionately  large compared to my hips and legs .    Now i can wear fitted all over and look good YAY !! 

Another thing  im rocking is HEELS !!  I was just too heavy to go anywhere but  in and out  of a car in those before  ..... and in NY city U walk for miles .... im buying higher heel heights and daring to wear them for far longer excursions ...so far so good ;) 

Another style im loving  is miniskirts with tights  ( or bare legs now )  and little boots ... again because  im proportionate on top now .  I could wear that style before because my legs were always skinny  ..but i felt  self concious , like  i was trying to balance a pumpkin on  stilts .... 

And guys would always look so crestfallen when i took my jacket off  it hurt my lil  feelings 

well no more !      

course the BIGGEST  thing is being able to take it all off and go for a swim whenever .. thats UNBELIEVABLE  to me  still... no running for two weeks to prepare ..no diuretics.... no self  conciousness .... actualy ENJOYING the experience  ..... what  I must have woken up on another PLANET .....

I've always thought I looked good naked, but I didn't look good in underwear before.  I do now!  I look great in my lingerie!

 COOL!!!!  U know ...thats one  category  of clothing i DONT have access to.... and  I guess i bettter  get something other than my walmart granny panties ( well actually dollar thongs ) before the wedding day lol !!  thanks for reminding me  ;) 

wow ..thats cool ...I dont think ive ever felt comfortable in fancy skivvies ... ive never  had the bod for victorias secret .....or even the nerve to go in there .to tell the truth ...

You know, I owe a lot of credit to my mom for that.  I had DD breasts in fifth grade, and my mom always spent a lot of money on bras for me that fit properly.  I've worn expensive, European bras (and often matching panties) my whole life.  My mother really encouraged me, and taught me that well-fitting, sexy underwear will make a woman feel good about herself and look better in her clothes.  I think that that is especially true of someone after WLS, who may feel self-conscious about scars and skin issues.  A good underwear set can make all the difference!  Plus, it just makes you feel HOT

I bet you look like a million bucks in your new styles....you are such a knock-out anyway!!

I LOVE winter white, cuffed-lined pants with heels and a tailored jacket....can't wait to get this look.

I'm not really wearing anything new yet (I've only gone down 2 sizes so far) but I'm enjoying wearing clothes that actually FIT and hug my curves.  Before, when I was a size 20 in pants and a 1X in shirts, I would always get a size bigger so it was loose and didn't show any "rolls".

My clothes feel so TIGHT now but I realized the other day----that's what clothes that fit CORRECTLY feel like!!!

I have become the queen of resale and vintage shops where I can get truly designer clothing at a fraction of the cost.  I live out in the boonies where most people aren't aware of designer labels and I can literally pick something off the racks and know its designer simply by the fabric.  I LOVE this!!  I go every pay day to my favorite resale shops and go on a "shopping spree"-- so much fun!  The hilarious thing is that people will rant and rave about my outfits and its all second-hand!! hahahaha
