Thank you! I appreciate your support. I really need all the support right now. I know I have to push in order to have that piece of mind. I'm just really scared of the unknown. The what ifs, the actual truth of it being more than just a cyst or abcess. I'm trying to be very positive and believe that it is nothing but I still fear the possiblity. Thanks again will keep you guys posted....

Thank you so much!! I really appreciate all your kind words. It really means a lot to me. Its a scary situation for me but I know I need to do this to have piece of mind. Having a biopsy done is scary but I needs to be done. I have my appt on Thurs  is the biopsy something that can be done that sameday or would I need to go back for another appt?

I had 'mastitis' in one breast about 2 years ago.. it had been 7 years since I had quit nursing- so it is not an expected thing. What a scare.. fortunately it responded quickly to antibiotics- so we felt sure that it was just an infection. But to be sure, I was referred to a breast surgeon quickly. At 6 weeks there was still a small lump, so I  had a biopsy- results were that it was 'necrotic tissue' from the infection. I  followed up with repeat mammogram and ultrasound at 6 months and 1 yr.. now I'm back on a regular yearly mammo plan.

If it makes you sleep better-- I would insist on a biopsy. When they do the biopsy, they can put in a marker so that it shows clearly in future mammograms (and ultrasounds) so they can monitor the specific area more closely.

I definetly going to get this biopsy! My only fear is that I had been taking antibiotics for 2 weeks and the infection and swelling did go down but it did not go away completely. I am now once again taking antibiotics. To clear up the infection that the radiologist said I still have. I started them on Thurs so lets see what happens now. I hope and pray that its just the infection and nothing beyond that. I have faith that I will be fine with whatever God has in his plan for me. I know there's a little  watching over me  Thanks for telling me your experience. It helps me see all the different sides and the effects on every person and different they are.
