Glad to hear that you are home and not in to much pain. You must have a very special DH. My DH would be sick just because I'm sick....LOL

Thank you Lee! So many of us who have had WLS have to go through this don't we! I am glad it happened in the same calendar year so I didn't have to pay anything! I just feel sore and a little tired today, think I will try to take a walk soon. Plus I got on the scale and my weight is up, I am sure just from the IV fluids, that happened last time too.

Sandi, I actually had my GB out on 11/2/2009, then WLS on 2/17/2010. I wasn't in the Bariatric program when I needed my GB out. I wish I had been so that it would have all happened together.
I had GB surgery on a Monday morning, when I weighed myself on Tuesday night (no food between), I was up 8 pounds from the IV fluids they gave me on Monday. It will come off you very quickly.
Rest today and walk as much as possible to help get the gas out.

Wow Lee, 8#!! I know when I had WLS I was up a couple of pounds after all the IV fluids but you are right they came off pretty fast. It's rough having 2 surgeries so close together. Maybe it's just as well your gall bladder was already out when you had weight loss surgery, I didn't realize the way I was feeling wasn't just normal post WLS. Now I realize some of why I didn't feel great the past 2 months was because of the bad gall baldder.
Thanks for your words of encouragement!
