Welcome to the Light Weights Board!  We are all going to be healthier, no matter what surgery we get, and you will rock for being able to get your diabetes under control!
It is normal to be nervous... this is a life changing event, and kudos's to you for doing so!

My surgery is in 5 days...  but this is about you. You learn from others and Lee is a outstanding person!! And thank you Lee for directing her here!

 You are so close to surgery! I live in Sonoma, maybe we can chat some time. Good luck, all easy and healthy through your RNY and after.

Kristen, only 5 sleeps until your surgery!  I'm so excited for you.  I had surgery on a Wednesday too.  I remember going into surgery that I wished I could wake up on Friday night because then the worst would be over.  I hope that those first few days post-op become a blur and all you remember is how happy you are to be starting on your new journey towards a healthier, more fabulous body.

You and I will both miss the OH luncheon on the 9th but let's make sure to get there in November!

Aren't the boards (especially this one) amazing? I don't know what I would have done without all the information I have learned here!
