Just 3 more sleeps!

Well, it is almost here!  I have been waiting for this date to arrive for so, so very long.  I can't really say I'm nervous or worried, maybe just a little anxious about doing everything right when I get home from the hospital.  I have bought plenty of food, I guess you can call it food, for the pureed stage!  I guess once you fall in the routine of doing everything it will all come together!

Thanks to everyone on here for the advice and encouragement I have gotten from you all!  I look forward to joining you on the loser's bench!  I guess maybe I am already there!  I have lost 12 lbs in the pre-op diet and that is weight that is gone forever!!!

How exciting! I was in your shoes just a few months ago. Those first few days are rough. Just sip, walk, rest, and you will be feeling like a million bucks before you know it.

 Beverly,  in my family we count sleeps too!  My son and I are counting 6 more sleeps until vacation!  I will count sleeps with you.  I have a very comfy spot on the VSG Loser's Bench for you.  I have a down pillow for you to sit on.   You're right, those pounds are gone forever and you're going to be amazed as how quickly the rest of them come off.  Good luck on Monday!!!

Well, those pounds are off almost forever.  Don't be surprised if you gain some water weight from the IV's but it will come off again very quickly.  Have a great weekend and get lots of rest.  Drink lots for as long as you can,   It will help you in surgery and recovery.  Pretty soon, you will be on the other side with us.  Don't expect it to all get done in the beginning.  Get your fluids in, then work on Protein.  It will all come and everyday you will feel better.
